Driver Level 1 Fitness Program
The PitFit Level 1 program is a twelve-week program designed to give both recreational and competitive drivers an edge on the competition. The program is the first in a series of four progressive workout plans and is geared toward drivers with little training experience and also those with some training experience. Included in the program are general strength, stamina, and flexibility exercises as well as driver-specific exercises for the core and neck. The stamina training pushes the driver in a variety of intensity zones, all gears to improved on-track performance. This training is similar to the same training programs used with all PitFit clients, from recreational sports car drivers all the way to Indianapolis 500 champions. If it works for them, it will work for you!
Driver Level 2 Fitness Program
The PitFit Level 2 program picks up where the Level 1 program ends. This 12-week program is designed to take the driver to the next step in their fitness training. It is advised that the driver completes the Level 1 prior to starting the Level 2 program as many components are somewhat similar but also very different. The Level 2 program takes the driver to single-limb training, which is important muscular balance and injury prevention. This program is particularly appealing to oval racers but he benefits derived will greatly enhance any driver in any series. Interval training is utilized much more, and the beginnings of reaction training drills are key components in the Level 2 program.
